  abstract = {Millimeter wave (MMW) imagers can be utilized very effectively for
	concealed weapons detection at standoff distances. However, from
	an operational perspective, the MMW imager only partially solves
	the problem of suicide bomber detection; significant operator interaction
	is currently required to track subjects, aim the imager and analyze
	images. Hence, we present a GE-developed auxiliary video-based system
	that introduces advanced targeting, detection and tracking capabilities
	that greatly improves the effectiveness of MMW threat detection systems.
	Our system has the following capabilities: - Since the MMW imager
	has to be accurately aimed at targets due to their narrow field of
	view, a video-based person detection system is used to automatically
	aim the MMW imager. - Person tracking algorithms are used to track
	individuals before and after threat detection, even in busy and crowded
	environments. - The captured MMW images are automatically analyzed
	with weapons detection algorithms. All of these video-based processes
	occur without human operator interaction. The talk will present a
	GE prototype system that is currently in operation at a GE test facility.},
