I joined Facebook as a Research Scientist in June 2017. Before that, I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at UCLA in May 2017. I worked with Professor Stefano Soatto at UCLA Vision Lab. Before joining UCLA, I obtained my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Fudan University, Shanghai. During the summer of 2015, I was a research scientist intern at NVIDIA, working with Dr. Iuri Frosio and Dr. Jan Kautz.

I am interested in Computer Vision, Machine Perception and Deep Learning. Currently I focus on local represetation learning with application in wide-baseline matching, general object recognition and localization.
