Prospective Students

The UCLA Vision Lab is always looking for outstanding prospective PhD students. Unfortunately, we receive many more requests that we can acknowledge and respond to individually. Organizationally, the UCLA Vision Lab is part of the Computer Science Department at UCLA. Induction to the lab is subject to admission to the Department, which is governed by a departmental committee following the procedures outlined here.

If you are interested in joining the Lab as a graduate student, please apply for admission to the department. Indicate in your application that you are interested in working with professor Soatto.
